As part of its commitment to strengthening Nordic drone capabilities, Swedish UAV company Airolit is now establishing a presence in Norway. The expansion comes in response to growing demand for robust drone systems tailored to Nordic conditions – and is reinforced by the appointment of Thomas Vacher-Eloranta as Country Manager for the Norwegian market.
Airolit develops UAV systems specifically designed to withstand extreme weather and complex defence operations. With production in Sweden, strong regional presence, and a recently established operation in Finland, Norway is the company’s next natural step in its Nordic growth strategy.
“Norway is a strategically important market for us. Our goal is to build a coherent Nordic offering and contribute to a stronger collective defence capability,” says Claes Kjölhede, CEO of Airolit.
To lead the establishment in Norway, Airolit has recruited Thomas Vacher-Eloranta as Country Manager. He brings extensive experience in international sales, with a strong focus on marketing technical solutions and building long-term customer relationships.
“It’s incredibly exciting to join a fast-growing company with such deep expertise and innovation,” says Thomas Vacher-Eloranta, Country Manager Norway, and continues:
“Airolit offers a unique combination of technical excellence, entrepreneurial drive and clear focus on defence. I see significant opportunities to build on the trust already established in the Nordic region. Norway is our next step – but we have a long and exciting journey ahead.”
